Deaf youth age 19 & under come FREE to camp! Deaf adults pay a registration fee of $20 in advance and $100 later when they arrive. Hearing children of Deaf adults pay a registration fee of $20 in advance and $40 later when they arrive. Hearing children age 5 and under pay only the registration fee of $20 when attending with their family.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>
\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\tDeaf Camp Program<\/strong><\/h4>\nDeaf will enjoy Bible services in sign language along with opportunities for fellowship with other Deaf. The Bill Rice Ranch was started in 1953 because the founders' daughter was deaf. The Rices' burden to give the gospel to the deaf world has propelled this ministry which includes camps in Tennessee and here in Arizona.\u00a0 Our focus is still the gospel. We will give the gospel clearly for those who have not \"heard\" it. We will also encourage the Deaf community to reach their friends and neighbors for Christ. Along the way, we will have great fun and fellowship on our beautiful campground in cool Northern Arizona. From its beginning West Branch has encouraged its guests to honor the Lord in appearance. Wholesome standards displaying modesty and distinction between the sexes are intended to be a help and blessing to you. While camp dress is casual, we encourage each camper to clean up for supper and the service each evening.<\/p>\nBoys<\/strong> No shorts. Since all campers are asked to be neat and clean for the services, sweatpants or wind pants will not be appropriate for services. Jeans are fine.<\/p>\nGirls<\/strong> No pants, shorts (see last line), capris or gauchos. Skirts, dresses, and activity attire (culottes\/athletic wear) must be knee-length and of proper fullness. Skirts or dresses are required for classes and services. Culottes of proper length and fullness should be worn only for activities. We accept knee-length, baggy athletic shorts as culottes.<\/p>\nFood<\/strong>
We serve delicious meals each day from our mobile commercial kitchen. Dining is outdoors under the beautiful pines with indoor options in case of rain.<\/p>\nCabins<\/strong>
Cabins have bunk beds and full restroom facilities. Families may stay together if space permits. Cabins will be assigned based on registration date. Those coming as individuals will stay in men's or women's cabins. Please let us know if you need handicapped accessible facilities in your cabin as there is limited space for this. Also, please be advised that while we do have some handicapped accessible cabins, we do not have paved sidewalks. Please contact us to ask about your particular situation if you have a hard time getting around.<\/p>\nMedical<\/strong><\/p>\nAll camper medications must be turned in to the camp first aid station and will be dispensed by staff on a regular schedule. Information and instructions for taking medication should be sent on the registration card. Diabetics or others on special diets must bring their own foodstuffs if supplement beyond regular meal is desired<\/span>. A refrigerator and microwave is available for use under supervision for those with special dietary needs.<\/p>\nArrival<\/strong><\/p>\nPlan to be at West Branch for the first meal and first service. A good beginning is important to the success of the entire camp. Deaf Camp begins Thursday afternoon with check-in from 2:00-4:00 PM. There is an opening meeting at 4:30, and the first meal is served at 5:30. The first service is at 7:30. Camp ends after breakfast Saturday morning. Deaf youth age 19 & under come FREE to camp! Deaf adults pay a registration fee of $20 in advance and $100 later when they arrive. Hearing children of Deaf adults pay a registration fee of $20 in advance and $40 later when they arrive. The Bill Rice Ranch was started in 1953 because the founders' daughter was deaf. The Rices' burden to give the gospel to the deaf world has propelled this ministry which includes camps in Tennessee and here in Arizona.\u00a0 Our focus is still the gospel. We will give the gospel clearly for those who have not \"heard\" it. We will also encourage the Deaf community to reach their friends and neighbors for Christ. Along the way, we will have great fun and fellowship on our beautiful campground in cool Northern Arizona. From its beginning West Branch has encouraged its guests to honor the Lord in appearance. Wholesome standards displaying modesty and distinction between the sexes are intended to be a help and blessing to you. While camp dress is casual, we encourage each camper to clean up for supper and the service each evening.<\/p>\nBoys<\/strong> No shorts. Since all campers are asked to be neat and clean for the services, sweatpants or wind pants will not be appropriate for services. Jeans are fine.<\/p>\nGirls<\/strong> No pants, shorts (see last line), capris or gauchos. Skirts, dresses, and activity attire (culottes\/athletic wear) must be knee-length and of proper fullness. Skirts or dresses are required for classes and services. Culottes of proper length and fullness should be worn only for activities. We accept knee-length, baggy athletic shorts as culottes.<\/p>\nFood<\/strong>
We serve delicious meals each day from our mobile commercial kitchen. Dining is outdoors under the beautiful pines with indoor options in case of rain.<\/p>\nCabins<\/strong>
Cabins have bunk beds and full restroom facilities. Families may stay together if space permits. Cabins will be assigned based on registration date. Those coming as individuals will stay in men's or women's cabins. Please let us know if you need handicapped accessible facilities in your cabin as there is limited space for this. Deaf Camp Costs<\/h4>\n
Deaf youth age 19 & under come FREE to camp! Deaf adults pay a registration fee of $20 in advance and $100 later when they arrive. Hearing children of Deaf adults pay a registration fee of $20 in advance and $40 later when they arrive. Hearing children age 5 and under pay only the registration fee of $20 when attending with their family.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>
Deaf Camp Program<\/strong><\/h4>\nDeaf will enjoy Bible services in sign language along with opportunities for fellowship with other Deaf. The Bill Rice Ranch was started in 1953 because the founders' daughter was deaf. The Rices' burden to give the gospel to the deaf world has propelled this ministry which includes camps in Tennessee and here in Arizona.\u00a0 Our focus is still the gospel. We will give the gospel clearly for those who have not \"heard\" it. We will also encourage the Deaf community to reach their friends and neighbors for Christ. Along the way, we will have great fun and fellowship on our beautiful campground in cool Northern Arizona. Please check \"camp information\" for more details about our conservative Christian standards including what we ask for in dress and conduct. From its beginning West Branch has encouraged its guests to honor the Lord in appearance. Wholesome standards displaying modesty and distinction between the sexes are intended to be a help and blessing to you. While camp dress is casual, we encourage each camper to clean up for supper and the service each evening.<\/p>\nBoys<\/strong> No shorts. Since all campers are asked to be neat and clean for the services, sweatpants or wind pants will not be appropriate for services. Jeans are fine.<\/p>\nGirls<\/strong> No pants, shorts (see last line), capris or gauchos. Skirts, dresses, and activity attire (culottes\/athletic wear) must be knee-length and of proper fullness. Skirts or dresses are required for classes and services. Culottes of proper length and fullness should be worn only for activities. We accept knee-length, baggy athletic shorts as culottes.<\/p>\nFood<\/strong>
We serve delicious meals each day from our mobile commercial kitchen. Dining is outdoors under the beautiful pines with indoor options in case of rain.<\/p>\nCabins<\/strong>
Cabins have bunk beds and full restroom facilities. Families may stay together if space permits. Cabins will be assigned based on registration date. Those coming as individuals will stay in men's or women's cabins. Please let us know if you need handicapped accessible facilities in your cabin as there is limited space for this. Also, please be advised that while we do have some handicapped accessible cabins, we do not have paved sidewalks.
