Character

To succeed beyond school, students must have a strong academic foundation and must develop specific character traits. At BRCA, academics and character are deeply linked, and one is never compromised for the other.

While the knowledge we instill separates us from many schools, character development is our real advantage. Character is doing right apart from outside influences, including anticipated gain or possible punishment. At BRCA, we have written our own Character Development Program that runs alongside our curriculum where nine traits are modeled, trained, and rewarded consistently throughout the year. We focus on obedience, respect, diligence, integrity, responsibility, discernment, thankfulness, kindness, and service. These traits are modeled, trained, and rewarded consistently at BRCA in and outside the classroom. The desire to do right must be planted and grown from the time the child is young and throughout adolescence. Our school stands out among other Christian schools in Murfreesboro by producing young people who desire to do right on their own by obeying God’s principles.
