Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Recently I was addressing a group of people who had brought young people, both deaf and hearing, from all across the country to camp. It was Friday, and it had been a great week. I told them, “Look, if you have been wrangling juniors this week or if you have spent a lot of time talking with teenagers this week, then I have a great verse for you.”
Hebrews 6:10 was a great verse for the last day of camp. It says, “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which you have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” It is a reminder that God knows you, God understands you, and God remembers you.
Some people don’t understand you. Some people don’t know you. Some people may know and understand you, but they forget you. Can I tell you something? God doesn’t! Remember that God doesn’t forget.
The Bible says, “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love.” God does not lack any mental capacity with which to remember anything. The only way God could not remember is if He chose not to remember and that would be unrighteous in this case, not because of our merit but because of His promise. You see, God doesn’t forget. He keeps His promises.
In the following verses the Bible reminds us that when God made a promise to Abraham “because he could swear by no greater, he swear by himself.” God kept His promise to Abraham. So, verse 15 says, “After he [Abraham] had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.” Verse 18 says, “It was impossible for God to lie.” So, God remembers His promises, and God keeps His promises.
The more you know God’s Word, the more you know God’s mind. The more you know God’s mind, the more you have faith because you have something in which to exercise it. Faith is not a matter of pulling something out of thin air and believing it. Faith is a matter of knowing God’s character and knowing God’s promises and trusting Him to make good on Who He is and what He said. God keeps His promises.
God remembers His people. He is “not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love.” Sometimes we do good things and people forget, and sometimes people may not know what we did to begin with. But, God knows, God understands, and God remembers. Those are three interrelated but separate things. Don’t forget that God remembers.
