By the time you read this, campers will be driving up the brand new section of road we just laid
down at the entrance to the campground here on the Bill Rice Ranch! We have now paved all of
the campground down through the most worn portion of the old road. There is no doubt in our
minds that this was an answer to prayer as friends gave generously toward this project.
Prior to this two-year project, we had been raising money for the renovation of all the “standard”
cabins and rooms. This took a couple of years to complete, and the change has been remarkable!
Campers are a little more comfortable these days.

Now we are turning our focus to the thirty “deluxe” rooms on site. These rooms are used by
group leaders, church counselors, families, campers who enjoy retreats in the fall and spring, and
parents bringing students to Bill Rice Bible College. These rooms have served people year-round
for many years. But now is the time for a much-needed facelift.

Our goal is to accommodate guests in rooms with new lighting, flooring, paint, and bathrooms
by this time next year. We believe we can do all the work necessary with $70,000. We will complete
as much as time and money allow, and if anything comes in over what is needed, we will
put that money toward next year’s renovation project. Would you prayerfully consider giving to
the Deluxe Rooms Renovation Project?

We look forward to letting you know about the completed renovations and welcoming you onto the Ranch the next time you come. We will have a new room ready for you when you do! The gate will be open at 5:30pm if you would like to take a tour of the Ranch. After we have enjoyed a delicious steak dinner, I will share how camp went this summer.
